Political Forecaster Amy Walter to Keynote Public Policy Symposium
AHRI is pleased to announce that Amy Walter, one of the nation's top political forecasters, will keynote the AHRI Public Policy Symposium, March 10-11, 2010 in Washington, DC. Ms. Walter will address attendees at 1:30pm, Wednesday, March 10.
As the editor-in-chief of The Hotline, Washington's premier daily briefing on American politics, Ms. Walter is the publication’s primary voice. Her reliably accurate analysis of the national political environment keeps her in demand for appearances on CNN, The Newshour with Jim Lehrer, Face the Nation (CBS), Meet the Press (NBC), Washington Journal (C-SPAN), and The Early Show (CBS). Ms. Walter provided election night commentary for CNN in 2002 and 2004, and was a member of CNN’s Emmy-award winning election night team in 2006.
Given her extensive experience, Amy Walter speaks with aplomb about the electoral process, congressional culture, and the Washington political scene on the whole. Being a familiar presence across the media spectrum, and as an academic—having graduated summa cum laude from Colby College and having served as an adjunct professor at one of the nation's top communications schools—Amy Walter's range of topics and expertise provides an engaging, compelling presentation that keeps audiences riveted.
